Anointed One [Messiah] will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary [Jerusalem and the temple]” (Daniel 9:26). The Romans destroyed the temple in 70 CE and it has never been rebuilt! So this Messiah had to come and die before 70 CE.5
