In Figure 2.2, quite a lot of text and space are used for a grand total of two numbers. The graph doesn’t do much to aid in the interpretation of the numbers (and with the positioning of the data labels outside of the bars, it can even skew your perception of relative height such that 20 is less than half of 41 doesn’t really come across visually).
