The nation needed us to deploy eleven days early, on June 18. Well, we could and we did. It was only because we were already working on our plan for being ready three weeks early that it was possible. Unfortunately, we did lose much of the family time we’d hoped for. We would have a short stand-down; the nation needed us and we would deliver.
