Relationships are built on principles, not on the basis of power and position.
It is like playing football — you know where the goalpost is, but you can't draw up a detailed plan to score a goal. You can't predict how the opponent team will play, which teammate might get injured or how the pitch will turn out. A footballer has to be agile and alert on the field — there is just no other way, even if he is playing by a strategy.
True failure happens only when individuals stop trying to achieve their personal best.
In fact I don't think setbacks, disappointments, rejections, or unsuccessful attempts can be even called failures. A sudden setback can be seen as a brick wall. It can also be seen as a stepping stone.
