A Course in Miracles Made Easy: Mastering the Journey from Fear to Love

People close to the earth live in the here and now. Time is a largely irrelevant factor in their lives.

Eternity does not start when time ends. It is already here, welcoming us to enter when we are ready.

You can evaluate the truth in a religion or any spiritual path by the size of the gap it defines between you and the heaven you deserve. The greater the gap, the farther the religion has drifted from truth. The smaller the gap, the closer to truth. When there is no gap, you are home.

Everything that has ever existed, does exist, will exist, and could exist, exists now.

All fear is of future events. If you are established in the now moment, you cannot be afraid. You can experience reality only now. Since love is the only reality, the only time to find love is now.

Fear and drama are not required or helpful. Trust and connection to Source are your best allies to navigate any situation.

God has never made anyone sick. We make ourselves sick by thinking, feeling, and acting out of harmony with our true nature. We gain health by aligning with Spirit’s will for us, which is only love.

Your body is not the cause of your mind and emotions; it is their effect.

When your body is in alignment with Spirit, universal law will keep you well.

Healing is the result of a shift in consciousness from separation to wholeness, a return to your true Self.

See perfection where others see limits. See wholeness where others see brokenness. Love while others fear.

When you are established in soul serenity, you are in the perfect position to attract all you need, supplied by grace.

Real generosity is generosity of the spirit. It is the feeling that you are blessed with enough of all good things, and you are happy to bless others with your overflow.

You can distinguish between the gifts of the world and the gifts of God by one simple test: When you give a gift of the world, you have less and someone else has more. When you give a gift of God, both giver and receiver gain. The gifts of the world are physical commodities. The gifts of God are energetic experiences.

When you give love, kindness, patience, or forgiveness, you gain the experience of the gift you are giving, in the moment you give it, so you are as blessed as the receiver.

Grace is our natural state.

There is no order of difficulty in miracles.

You are a miracle, capable of creating in the likeness of your Creator.

ACIM tells us that the only place to seek healing is within and the only time to do it is now. “Heaven is here. There is nowhere else. Heaven is now. There is no other time”

“Enlightenment is but a recognition, not a change at all”

The only thing we are ever required to change is our perception.

Ultimately there is only one miracle: the shift in awareness from the tyranny of fear to the healing presence of love.

the one and only miracle is that everything unlike love does not exist and only love is real.

The world is transformed from a prison ruled by terror to a temple consecrated by love.

“When planning revenge, be sure to dig two graves.”

When joy is your motivation, joy is your result.

The innocent mind interprets all acts in favor of love. Love yourself no matter what you do, and what is not of love will be replaced by what is truly valuable.

Enlightened people do many things that most people do. The only difference is that they are filled from within rather than seeking from without.

In that moment I realized that fear was not a good enough reason to do a religious act, and it is certainly not a healthy foundation on which to live a life.

“Miracles are healing because they supply a lack; they are performed by those who temporarily have more for those who temporarily have less”

It is as important to receive miracles as it is to give them. When you allow someone to help you, you afford that person the joy of being a miracle worker.

When you allow someone to sincerely help you, you help them. They receive the reward of giving, while you receive the joy of receiving.

“Be humble before Him, and yet great in Him”

My eyes, my tongue, my hands, my feet today Have but one purpose; to be given Christ To use to bless the world with miracles.

“Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle”

You don’t have to know how to perform miracles. You just have to be fully present, keep your mind and heart open, seek to help where you can, remember wholeness more than appearances of brokenness, and love more than fear.

“The presence of fear is a sure sign that you are trusting in your own strength”

Thus will each gift to Him be multiplied a thousandfold and tens of thousands more. And when it is returned to you, it will surpass in might the little gift you gave as much as does the radiance of the sun outshine the tiny gleam a firefly makes an uncertain moment and goes out. The steady brilliance of this light remains and leads you out of darkness, nor will you be able to forget the way again.

At every moment you are teaching love or you are teaching fear. There are no other lessons.

If you consider the teachers who have affected your life most profoundly, it was not the information they gave you that transformed you. It was how they treated you and how you felt in their presence.

As you find your wholeness and live from it, the world will be transformed by your model and you will leave a trail of healing in your wake.

When you teach only love, you learn only love.

Your purpose is far more profound than you have been taught, and the route to your destiny far simpler. You are here to transform the world by changing your thoughts about the world and who you are in it. You are a loving being living in a universe founded in love.

The world will end in joy, because it is a place of sorrow. When joy has come, the purpose of the world has gone. The world will end in peace, because it is a place of war. When peace has come, what is the purpose of the world? The world will end in laughter, because it is a place of tears. Where there is laughter, who can longer weep?

Fear masks love, smallness eclipses magnitude, and time strangles eternity. In every way it is the opposite of the world God created. The end of the world as we know it is a blessed event, for when we withdraw our investment in hell, all that is left is heaven.

The end of the illusory world of discrete, disconnected forms will yield to the experience of the real world as the unified being of God.

From insane wishes comes an insane world. From judgment comes a world condemned. And from forgiving thoughts a gentle world comes forth, with mercy for the holy Son of God . . .

You and your brother are coming home together, after a long and meaningless journey that you undertook apart, and that led nowhere. You have found your brother, and you will light each other’s way. And from this light will the Great Rays extend back into darkness and forward unto God, to shine away the past and so make room for His eternal Presence, in which everything is radiant in the light.
