A new arrangement or code will be put into place between God and his people, but the instruction in that code will be the same. As a result, when we compare and contrast the old and new covenant, we can say that we are not bound to the old covenant as a code, but that the righteousness of God demonstrated in the old covenant has been enshrined and incorporated into the new.
