What I find a bit frustrating about the Mormon view of history is how its interpretation of Apostasy goes by the wayside when it comes to the Mormon view of its own history. When Mormons look back over the last two hundred years, they see continuity in much the same way that Catholics find continuity over two thousand years. That seems to me to be a case of a double standard.
