Disneyland’s address in Anaheim, 1313 Harbor Boulevard, is exactly thirty-three miles from the merry-go-round in Griffith Park where Walt Disney first dreamed of a place where “children and parents could have fun together.
The handstamp is required for re-entry, and it always goes on your left hand in honor of Walt who, himself, was left-handed.
Doritos were invented here, in Disneyland, in the 1960s. Originally, they were a byproduct of excess tortillas that the restaurant cut up, fried, and seasoned. They became so popular with park guests that Frito-Lay decided to take Doritos nationwide in 1966.
