When I was in Kenya, I took an engine part to be fixed at a local workshop in Mombassa. I was told it would be ready “kesho”. When I looked up ‘kesho’ in my Swahili dictionary I discovered it means, ‘tomorrow’. So, feeling rather pleased with myself, I went back the following day and was told the same thing.
