Trust is essential to building enduring connections with employees, suppliers, customers, and the community. Nobody wants to work in an office where you don’t trust the person next to you, nor is it ideal to work for a boss who doesn’t extend opportunities to trust. Honesty and ethical behavior therefore create trust because the best way to spread an idea, value, or behavior is to live it.
