For security and other reasons, the British want to maintain their monopoly and prevent Arlington Hall from setting up a separate establishment to produce and exploit CX/MSS in Washington, presumably as a part of G-2. What the three Americans first need to do is find out if Washington really needs its own CX/MSS center, or whether more satisfactory results can be obtained from having the Americans work with the British in Bletchley Park.
