Check into your body by using self-talk to understand what your body is doing and feeling in the present moment. Maybe you are sitting down on the couch reading this book.

There’s no place else I’d rather be. There’s no one else I’d rather see.
Your emotions are influenced both by your thinking and by how your body feels.
Invincibility means you cannot be defeated unless you quit. Resourcefulness means believing you have the abilities and resources to solve any of life’s problems. To change your default state, you must return to a time in your mind when you felt invincible, powerful, and resourceful.
Instead of feeling like I’m losing confidence, I move my arms back and forth and I feel my state of resourcefulness returning to me. As you become more in touch with the connection between your body and mind, you too will be able to “trigger” emotions by moving your body.
Focus on the essentials. Do not run on autopilot or become an automaton to routine. Check in. Failure to do so, sadly, could result in harm, or even death.
Think about what you really need. What really matters to you? If you forget to do something, would your life really change for the worse?
“What you focus on is what you feel.”
Focus works both ways. You can focus on what matters or what doesn’t. You can focus on what makes you feel rich and abundant, or what makes you feel inadequate and lacking.
If someone steals my car outside right now, I don’t care. I can’t be bothered with that. All I can do is call the insurance agency and they’ll laugh about it. I trained myself for that and not to let things go into my mind.
But your life belongs to you, not them. If people want to associate with you, it must be on your terms.
“What am I focusing on? Why am I focusing on this?
By taking inventory of your life, you’ll begin to understand who and what you want in it. Focus on obtaining more of what you want out of life while refusing to focus on negative people and activities.
When you feel your mind wandering, use self-talk to remind yourself, “I am choosing to focus on x, when I should be focusing on y.”
When I am at the gym I turn off my cell phone. The gym is time away from the grind, and it’s a time to focus on my health and fitness.
They are the most important people in your life. Mindlessly checking email and being distracted is something they will notice and remember. Turn the phone off.
When you eat, you should focus on your food. Studies have shown people tend to eat 25-50% more calories when eating in front of the television. Because we aren’t focused on eating while watching television (or surfing the web), we lose track of how much we’ve actually eaten.
The world is busy and we’re overwhelmed, but you work most effectively when you focus on one task at a time. Choose one task and work on that for a set period of time. (I work in 45-minute intervals, and take 5-15 minutes to goof off and decompress).
Gorilla Mindset Shift: Avoid negative situations and draining people, instead choose to engage in life-affirming activities with positive, helpful people.
A cold or contrast shower is an empowering way to start the day.

Gorilla Mindset Shift: Strong posture,
Exercise regularly. Move your body every day. Eat a diet of clean foods. Continue performing your Gorilla Mindset self-talk and mindfulness exercises.
Eat, blend, or juice 8-9 servings of vegetables and fruit each day. Lift weights 2-4 times per week. Perform cardio 3-5 times per week (can be alternated with lifting days).
Do something physical every day (whether it’s hiking, brisk walking, or even a massage). Avoid foods high in sugar, starch, or dairy.
The ANDI index also considers the free-radical fighting ability of foods. Collard greens, kale, spinach, brussel sprouts, arugula, red peppers, romaine lettuce, broccoli, and carrots are examples of commonly available foods that rate high on the ANDI index.

When it comes to money, it’s not what you make. It’s what you make and what you save.

Do you need more money or do you think you need money to escape your current situation?
You see money everywhere. You live in a huge world of abundant resources. You see wealth everywhere.

As Warren Buffett said, “It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and 20 seconds to destroy one. If you go through life with that mindset, you’ll do things differently.”

If I want to be a TV star, I’ll start a YouTube Channel. If I want to be a radio star, I’ll start a podcast. If I want to become a writer, I’ll publish my own books. I am a producer and not a consumer. My reputation is everything. I will never abuse the trust others instill in me.
