Atheism: A Wonderful World Without Religion

It is irresponsible to try to impose one’s notion of a good life on another, so the basic ideal is that each individual must be given an equal opportunity at pursuing their idea of a good life. The best way to do achieve this result for the most people is to refrain from impeding upon the path of another to attain this ideal – in other words to refrain from causing them harm and suffering through such acts as theft and causing injury or outright death to them – and to help others in attaining that goal as much as we can. We can then as a society agree to deal with those who actively disrupt the pursuit of happiness by sequestering them and offering rehabilitation. And there we have the basis of a practicable and arguably superior moral system.
