Right now what’s important is getting it down. It doesn’t have to be perfect. In fact, it won’t be perfect. The goal here is to finish the scene. If it helps, I want you to consider it this way. When you’ve completed your manuscript, there is every possibility that the entire chapter you’re about to write could be cut or re-written from scratch. If that becomes necessary, all the time you spent agonizing over specific words, or correcting grammar and spelling, is completely wasted.
