That sounds like a very risky process. One can see how a large amount of fidelity to the original work could be lost when the work explicitly says that we can say nothing about the future

Right here simply meaning rationally explainable , not normatively “ good” or “just” in any metaphysical way as I’m sure Hegel would agree.
