Isaiah 55:11 says that God’s Word always does the work he sends it to do: “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” This can be hard for us to understand because we usually think about doing the work ourselves.
