When I met Yunus, he spoke of the Herculean efforts required to grow Grameen Bank: nurturing capable borrowers into employees, finding new ways for women to earn income, spurring house-bound wives to enter public life, and on and on. It was clear he had climbed mountains beyond mountains, all the while holding the hands of his borrowers and pulling them along.
