This is not casual play, and it requires directed motivation. It doesn’t matter what flashy interactive graphics exist to teach this material unless a child does the hard internal work to digest it. To persevere, children need guidance and encouragement for all the hours of a school day, at least nine months of the year, sustained over twelve years.
