Even to this day I may catch myself thinking negative thoughts, particularly if I haven’t been social for a while. “She’s too attractive for me” may pop into my mind when I see an attractive woman. I don’t try to push that thought out of my mind. Nor do I consider this thought true. Just having that thought doesn’t mean she’s too attractive for me. Instead, I consciously notice that I had the thought and let it go as I take action.
