There is too much on the line with an “approach.” It’s an airplane aiming for a runway. Either it lands successfully or crashes horribly. It’s all or nothing. There’s no joy in that. Instead, we’ll have interactions. Some of them may be quick and minor. Others may involve more commitment on your part. But none of them should feel like you’re going too far beyond what you’re capable of doing.
