we currently live at a minimum of the entropy curve, all of our memories of the past are completely unreliable, and we have no way of making any kind of sense of the universe.

You, and I, and all the bustling activity we see around us, are epiphenomena riding the wave of entropy as it bounces back from a random excursion into a wildly improbable state.
