She did attempt to engage Rand’s sympathies, but was unsuccessful. She then set her sights on Perrin, and helped him remove the dreamspike at the Black Tower. She later Compelled him to murder Moiraine, but Perrin was able to resist and instead killed Cyndane. See also Lanfear
