When we are feeling utterly worthless, for example, we can ignore it, debate it, or succumb to it. The best wisdom of the world can’t get us much further. In contrast, the wisdom of God reveals that worthlessness is about our connections. We are connected to things that have been forced on us, such as the sins of others, or we are connected to things we love, such as work, hobbies, or even the people who love us.
