Greater racket-tailed drongos hunt in feeding parties made of several species of birds. Sri Lankan ornithologists theorized that drongos may mimic different species to invite them to form such a group. But we don’t know for sure if this is coincidence or deliberate use of mimicry. Besides, mimicking tomcats was an unlikely invitation to a party.
