They only come into being when the causes and conditions are correct. Once they come into being, they start disintegrating and eventually change. For example, a car comes into being when all the right parts are assembled. Once it has been assembled, the process of deteriorating starts, until eventually it ends up on the scrap heap. That is what is meant by the principle of impermanence.
