By contrast, Christianity does not start with anything in creation. It begins with the transcendent Creator. Therefore, it is not limited in scope. It does not have to reduce all of reality to a single set of categories. It does not see just the trunk or the tusk or the tail. It is a transcendent point of view that sees the whole elephant—the God’s-eye view that philosophers and mystics have always sought.
