“Surface friends” is what I call it. When your friendship is merely a façade and you’re enemies on the inside.

I feel so much calmness when I’m around him. My mother says there are people you meet and get to know, and then there are people you meet and already know.

It’s amazing how much distance one truth can create between two people.
