The in-love stage lasts anywhere from a few months to a few years and is characterized by both partners doing the best they can to overlook or to lessen the habits/behaviors of the other
person that don’t fit the fantasy image that they have created in their minds of how this other person should behave.
Love is the steady-state emotion that takes over after the in-love stage wears out.
Some believe that love contaminates Master’s ability to make emotionally-pure decisions.
