That’s God saying, ‘I ain’t forgot about you.’ He already mapped out the rest of your story,” he saw the pain in her eyes. This is just one chapter. It ain’t the ending.” Julissa blinked fast, trying to keep the tears from falling.
“God is not trying to hurt you. He’s trying to move you toward something bigger and better. That heartbreak you feel right now?” Clyde shook his head. “One day you’re gonna look back and thank God, he didn’t let you settle for less than what HE planned for you. He’s got a future lined up that’s brighter than you can even imagine right now. All you gotta do is keep going until you see it.”
She slipped her hand down to squeeze her private area. It helped, but not enough. Not for long, anyway. By 2:07 a.m., Julissa had stopped her inner thoughts. She threw the sheets off, her body humming with frustration. Julissa knew what she was about to do was wrong. She also knew every decision moving forward would be harmful to Roman. "Fuck it," she whispered to herself. She finally leaves her bed, slowly walking barefoot downstairs and across the cold marble floors.
