Some Vanir have palaces in Asgard, the seat of the Aesir gods, but the Vanir also have their own world, Vanaheim.
Just a thought I had, we usually think of asgard as the "palace" of the nine realms, the top. But in reality, Asgard an Vaniheim should be considered equals as they are both homes for the gods.
