I’ve always been drawn to people who would burn the world down for me if given the chance, and I have a feeling Brody fits that characteristic to a tee.

“‘Inhale confidence, exhale fear?’”
One time I opened a jar of pickles on the first try. That probably takes the cake.
“Because all the days I get to see you? Those are my favorite days.”
He’s part of my dreams now, and I don’t think I could ever be any happier than this.
“If, hypothetically, you were hanging out with someone’s sister, he wouldn’t care. I mean, he’d care at the beginning, because he doesn’t like being left out of things, but after he cooled down, he wouldn’t care. He’s a lover.” Riley shrugs. “He wants the people in his life to be happy.”
“Yeah?” “I want to tell you something, but I’m scared.” “What are you scared of?” he asks gently. “What happens if things go wrong?” “And what if they go right?” he says, and it makes me want to explode with glee. “I’ll be here. Whenever you’re ready.” “Even if it takes me years?” I ask. “Even then. Look how great six months have been. Can you imagine six years?” He hooks his fingers around my chin, kissing me. “I’d say sixty, but I’ll be dead by then.”
He’s my brother. I don’t have to always like him, but I will always love him.
