Weirdest of all was that Dax’s ink had moved. I’m not a believer in things that go bump in the night, but I saw it with my own eyes. I saw it. It twisted and coiled like a living thing beneath his skin. That wasn’t normal. That wasn’t even paranormal. That was terrifying.
