To the thrill of the hunt And Accepting the beast of self
Hating himself and living a lie weren’t going to give him a good life. All it had done was rob him years of his life, pretending to be what others wanted him to be.
Ronan had probably gotten bored and wandered off, distracted by something more lively than an exhausted human having a panic attack with his emotional support stick.
He’d shared the deepest secrets of himself with his family, told them he was trans, and instead of finding understanding, he was pushed out. The pain of that rejection felt crushing at the time, but Ronan was there to collect all his broken pieces and squeeze them back into place. He accepted Emery for who he was and patched up each and every wound in his soul.
They both loved each other in all their damaged glory.
a creature of the night taking full advantage of the prey it’d hunted down and caught. Now it got to enjoy its reward.
A human being, completely surrendering to be bred by a beast. But that’s what he was doing. Giving in.
A large pawed hand wrapped around Emery, holding him tight against his firm chest. Ronan’s long furry face stretched over him, making sure to fully cover him. Snuggled up together, Emery felt the warmth of his husband melt away the cold and carry him into a deep sleep.
This was his perfect family, the one with Ronan, and Emery was so happy to have it.
“Who would have thought your werewolf form wanted to be a daddy, too?”
He knew, just like his husband, that their child would be perfect, and he wanted to make sure that every part of their family felt loved, wolf and all.
