Those words of his had me throwing the can of enchilada sauce at him. I had impeccable aim so I cracked him upside his skull before he could turn the corner. I had to calm myself though, because even though I was mad, I had my baby with me and it was never acceptable for me to let Adonis see my temper flaring.

“Well… one, what are y’all doing here? And two, Jaye is a pacifist.” She pulled her hoodie over her head, moving around the kitchen. “You fucking with a nigga that’s tryna be Martin Luther King? The fuck wrong with you?” Rem’s face showed his irritation.

What did I do?” “Leave them proper lame ass clothes. You can’t pick his clothes out no more.
