Let Justice Roll Down

True Christian change works more like an old oak tree in the spring, when the new life inside pushes off the old dead leaves that still hang on.

Yielding to God’s will can be hard. And sometimes, it really hurts. But it always brings peace.

It’s a profound, mysterious truth—Jesus’ concept of love overpowering hate. I may not see its victory in my lifetime. But I know it’s true.

Groups have always seemed to me the best way to go about getting things done, but now I was seeing more clearly than ever how important it is for Christians to be the people of God, and not just a collection of individual believers who gather weekly for the convenience of joint worship on Sunday.
