The whole thing was underwater. No air pockets. No dry routes. Just open swim from start to finish. Towerbound let you move like real life—which meant it let you drown like real life. Fast. And unlike classic games that pretended water physics didn’t exist, Towerbound took them personally. Swing a sword? Good luck with that drag. Shoot an arrow? It drops after three feet. Even Whisperstrings, those bow-happy thieves with full agility builds, got embarrassed here. Only water mages and ice specialists seemed to enjoy themselves.
