As it gets older, software should become more valuable and not a source of pain and increasing cost.
When teaching, we are forced to structure our thoughts, making us really understand our quite often half-baked ideas so we can make someone else understand them.
It is easy to say that a piece of code is badly written. It is easy to complain or even laugh. But the question is: are you good enough to make it better?
