My generation had inherited all these massive, impossible problems: collapsing ecosystems, dysfunctional government, out-of-control corporations, crazed terrorists, slightly less crazed Tea Partiers, insane college tuitions, and the even more insane requirement that you get a college degree or you're totally screwed.
