“Hail to the Day, and Day’s Sons, farewell to Night and her Daughters. With loving eyes look upon us here, and grant peace to those living here. Hail to the Gods, hail to the Goddesses, hail to the mighty fecund Earth. Eloquence and native wit bestow upon us here, and healing hands while we live.

Farewell to the Day, and Day’s Sons, hail to Night and her Daughters. With loving eyes, look upon us here, and grant peace to those living here. Hail to the Gods, hail to the Goddesses, hail to the mighty fecund Earth. Eloquence and native wit bestow upon us here, and healing hands while we live.”
we can ask our selves, “Who does this serve?” thereby eliminating that which is no longer necessary, and bringing joy, awe and wonder back into our lives.
Reminding our selves of the Grail questions can become a mantra for everyday life, filling our lives with awen.
I have known people who have abandoned the gods because they have lost loved ones, or had other trauma in their lives that the gods did not intercede in. My question would be – why should they intercede? There can be the assumption that the gods are “on call” for us, for our whims and demands and pleas for help. They are not.
I honour the Spirit of the North, the Earth Mother, the Great Bear. I honour the Spirit of the East, the Sky Father, the Great Eagle. I honour the Spirit of the South, the Fire Brother, the Great Dragon. I honour the Spirit of the West, the Rain Sister, the Great Whale.
