Peter didn’t reply. He felt violated, betrayed, as if someone he trusted had rifled through his belongings without his permission.
Weird that this didn’t go anywhere pertaining to Peter’s character since it was so hypocritical. I guess this was one of the main things that made this book a 3-star and not a 4. That, and “the town of Oakville, 30 minutes east from Toronto.” lol…
