For me personally, I get trapped in this cycle of waking up, going to work, coming home, going to bed, repeat. I get caught in this cycle and I don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere or that it’s doing me any good. I think of it almost as a walled off garden. Inside the garden is the safe, predictable, repetitive, and dare I say boring life. But we all long for just a peek over the other side and some try to escape completely. When you’re caught in the cycle of doing the same thing everyday you can’t help but chase things that don’t really matter just to keep from going insane.
