I’ll help you with the stupid plans, okay?” I sniff as my voice wobbles. “And, okay, I might try to make the plans a little less stupid, but my point is . . . you don’t need to keep secrets from me.” Tears well in my eyes, and I soothe my hands over his chest. “If it’s important to you, then it’s everything to me.
