Survival tip #312 Quick dick is always worth it.
“I get that there are five of us.” I jerk her pale legs apart and lean in to bite her inner thigh. Eden flinches, but her breathing snags on a gaspy moan. “I get that Jayk is jealous, and Jasper is confusing, and
Beau is dramatic, and Dom is hurting.”
“Always, Eden. With the men or without. Lie, kill, steal my every heirloom. Shatter my heart into a thousand pieces if you must, but you will always have a place at Bristlebrook. You will always have a safe place to land, no matter how bad things get. You’ll never be alone again. Not if I have anything to say about it.”
“I’m afraid you’re staying here, darling girl. I’ve grown rather fond of you.”
“We have a sledgehammer somewhere. No, we do. Jayk had one. I’ve seen it. Jasper, he’s stealing her! No, I don’t give a shit if he’s protective of his tools.”
“So you’re going to be mine. You’re going to be in my bed, riding my dick whenever I want . . . like my good little queen.”
His room is my church.
“On a scale of one to ten, how much detail do you want?” he asks. “One being like—I just want to know that you’re feeling good enough to tap dance and giggle over daisy chains. Five being like—he strung me to the ceiling and whipped me till I came on the floor, then fucked me in my mess until I just about passed out.”
I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t fantasized about tossing the lot of them out on their repulsive, hollering behinds so I can pour myself some tea and enjoy my apocalypse in peace.
“You can call me sir, Eden,”
“Lucien, it’s time to fetch the grappling hooks.”
“Come here, Eden. And crawl.”
My love language is written in scarlet.
“I can’t love you for all the ways you’re brave and good, but never let you be those things.”
It’s a cold, cruel world. Be a safe place for the people you love; they need one as much as you do.
Dom’s voice crackles over the radio on my kit. “Steel Rain, this is Boss Man, do you copy? Over.”
“Don’t fucking slap me. He didn’t steal your lipliner. Hit me,”
