Earlier, Richard Lamm, the three-time governor of Colorado and a current member of FAIR’s advisory board, had voiced similar concerns. Sounding very much like the deadly physicians of the Third Reich, he said that “terminally ill people have a duty to die and get out of the way” (quoted in Beirich 2007). Lamm also expressed fear of race wars in his 1985 novel, Megatraumas: America at the Year 2000.
