Ford’s International Jew was translated into German soon after its original publication and became very popular in Germany. Hitler read both it and Ford’s autobiography and was extremely impressed. In fact, some passages of Mein Kampf are essentially identical to what appears in International Jew, and it appears that Hitler copied directly from it (Pool and Pool 1979). Hitler also was influenced by Ford’s insistence that Jewishness was a “race” and not a religion.
