Unexpected Pass

The congratulations weren’t important right now. Making sure I could track down this woman after she was no longer in my presence was.

“You know I’m fat, right?” she blurted, making me laugh as if I hadn’t been staring at her beautiful curves since the moment I first laid eyes on her.

“Ten thousand then.” I upped the ante. Ten thousand for a haircut was excessive, but I wasn’t above bribery. I wanted her company.

Phileigh didn’t say anything. She just stared at me with that beautiful ass smile. The wheels in my head were already turning on how I could make sure this woman never left my sight.

“Applying pressure, beating your door down… getting to know you until you’re mine.”

“You being pregnant isn’t enough to run me off, Phileigh. I still want to get to know you.”

“The unexpected things are sometimes the best things that happened to us.”

“I like her for you. She brings out the grown man, protector side of you. Reminds me of your grandfather.”

“Word of advice… When a man offers to get you nice things, be skeptical, but accept them, chile. You always deserve it.”

“I’m going to be everything you and baby Phileigh Cheese need.”
