According to the Word of God, we are to shout grace, or God’s favor, to our mountain. When we declare and shout divine favor to our mountain, what we are doing is speaking words of faith, just as Jesus said we should do. We’re expressing our faith in the favor of God to move that mountain.
To be blessed is to have the power to prosper and succeed. That’s what blessed means: empowered to prosper. The blessing is an empowerment from God, who, in essence, said to Abraham, “I will empower you to prosper, to succeed. Not only that, but I’m going to give you an abundant increase of favors.” The major characteristic of the covenant is the blessing, and the major characteristic of the blessing is favor.
During a time of prayer, the Lord asked me this question: “Son, if the blessing is the empowerment to prosper and succeed, then what is My favor for?” Before I could respond, He gave me the answer: “Favor produces the opportunities to make the blessing happen.”
The primary reason for our being blessed and empowered to prosper is so that we can be a blessing to others.
Remember, God’s blessing is the empowerment to prosper, and favor produces opportunities for prosperity to happen.
How we think about a situation has everything to do with the outcome; how we speak about a situation has everything to do with the outcome; and our attitude about a situation has everything to do with the outcome. That’s why I continually declare, “I am surrounded with favor, and that favor produces opportunities for me to prosper!”
The only other time the phrase windows of heaven is used in the Bible is in reference to the days of Noah and the flood.
The windows of heaven were opened and a deluge of water was poured out, covering the entire earth. There was an outpouring, an unstoppable downpour.
Based on this example, it looks to me as if God is saying to the faithful tither, “I’m going to cause an outpouring of uns...

God won’t make you do anything, but if you think you can ignore His Word and still experience His best, you’re deceived.
Oral Roberts once said to me, “The difference between Old Testament tithing and New Testament tithing is this: my tithe is no longer a debt I owe, but a seed I sow.”
Those who tithe faithfully position themselves for opportunities to prosper.
The blessing God conferred upon mankind in the garden was a gift of love. The commanded blessing is a decree, an authoritative order, that bears with it God’s eternal purpose.
The New Living Translation says, “The LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do.”
“God will order a blessing on your barns and workplaces.”
When God makes a command, then divine order is established. Divine order removes all doubt and confusion regarding a matter. Once God issues a command, the matter is settled; it’s not up for vote or opinion.
When the favor of God is on your house, even if you go through a period of adversity, you’ll come out on the other side with no evidence of what you’ve experienced.
You are now the blessed of the LORD.’”
After the hedge came down, Job became like the rest of the world. Whatever the world was going through, he was going through. Whatever attacks Satan launched successfully against the world, he launched successfully against Job.
Job also said to God, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:5–6).
The hedge of favor Job had pulled down through fear was resurrected through his faith in God.
Satan can’t pull it down, and God won’t pull it down, so that only leaves us. And like Job, the way we pull it down is by opening the door to fear.
When we show favor to another person, we’re actually sowing seed. And because every seed produces after its own kind, we know that if we sow favor, we will reap favor.
Your harvest is crying out for you every day, saying, “I don’t belong to the ungodly, to the sinful—I belong to you!” If we will cry out for the harvest, just as the harvest is crying out for us, the Lord of hosts will hear us. That harvest is crying out to come into the hands of those to whom it rightfully belongs. Because Jesus is our Jubilee, all that rightfully belongs to us as the Body of Christ is being restored.
that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in he field.”
Paul said, “Had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Corinthians 2:8).
The blessing was empowering Joseph to prosper; favor was producing the opportunity for promotion.
Potiphar made Joseph, a slave, his personal aide.
Blessing and favor don’t exempt us from adversity, but they do exempt us from being defeated.
So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
Not only was Joseph reconciled to the dream he had carried for years, seeing it fulfilled before his very eyes, but he also was reconciled with his family. The impossible became possible. That’s what the favor of God does in our lives.
