The fundamental question of religion is how does a just and holy God take a sinner to heaven without violating God’s justice and making heaven dirty. Only the propitious death of Jesus Christ answers this question. When Jesus Christ died He justified and sanctified you; He justified and sanctified you through acts of imputation. When He became your substitute, He declared you both righteous and without sin, satisfying the justice of God and making you holy.
