She looked down into His eyes. She couldn’t seem to bring herself to accept what He was saying as truth. He lifted her chin up with His index finger. He leaned closer and kissed her, softly at first, then increasingly deeper as He sought to convey His love and appreciation for her and her intelligence and skills.
