“Have you eaten?” Lexi asked coldly. Talulah straightened up, smoothing out the wrinkles in her lab coat. “Why, yes,” she said, looking proudly into her daughter’s bright blue eyes. “Just Friday, I had—” “Oh my god, Mom,” Lexi sighed, cutting her off. “You have to eat every day!” “But—“ Lexi stomped off before Talulah could defend herself.
Winnie picked a song that made everyone in the room jump. It was loud, heavy, and aggressive. The tempo was fast, and Winnie began—not so much singing as growling into the mic, eventually evolving into deep-voiced screams. Tyra and Juniper got up to dance, banging their heads back and forth, letting their teal and purple hair fly everywhere. Xay had no idea what Winnie was saying, but the beat was legit.
Vi smirked, stepping closer to him. “No, no. You’re more of a humble collector,” she said, her eyes flicking between Kimi and Ezra. “A handsome honeypot surrounded by horny little bees.” Xay swallowed the lump in his throat, his orbs rotating from high to low. “I think I need an adult.”
Behind the lead, the rest of the troupe surged forward in a wave of flirtatious skin and confident swagger. Gloves were peeled away slowly, tugged between teeth. Corset laces loosened, splitting open to reveal glistening skin and twinkling pasties. Breasts, thighs, and asses jiggled with every step. Backs arched, flared hips swayed, flat stomachs rippled—each move was choreographed for maximum visual impact. “Their outfits are incredible, but the way they move in them makes them even better,” Lexi said, getting ideas.

So sure of themselves.”
Kimi stepped up next, sliding into her A0 with a confident expression. To absolutely everyone’s surprise—including her own—she was.. spectacularly awful. She dragged the front end along the ground, drifted sideways off the launch, clipped a support beam, spun out completely, and then flipped over into a padded foam net meant for emergency landings. Everyone froze—then Lexi clapped, laughing. She could sense that Kimi was unharmed over the bond through Xay. “Are.. you okay?” Dex asked slowly over the comms. Kimi gave a thumbs-up, upside down. “Only bruised my ego a bit.” After autopilot flipped

On his other side, Xay noticed someone struggling with their helmet—and for a second, he thought he was seeing things. No way. “Victor?” Xay said, stunned. “Victor Reed?” The man paused mid-fumble and looked up. “Amun?” he blinked. “Hey! What’s up, man?” It was him. The ex-member of the Mazzikin Sect that Xay had fought at Club Koi and raced through the hyperloop construction site. “What? What are you doing here?” Xay asked, still shocked. Victor grinned. “Right? It’s kinda crazy. But after all that mess a few months back, I went straight—for real this time. No more underground junk for me.”

Ezra cleared her throat, her cheeks flushing pink. “Anyway, who do you think will win the first race?” “Obviously Jetson Geto,” Peanut declared unilaterally. “And why is that obvious?” Ezra asked curiously. Bev sighed. “Now you’ve done it.” A wide grin spread across Peanut’s face. “I’m glad you asked, Lady Ezra. You see—”
